MicroPrint -sonic systems- Power supply?

Does anyone have info on the power supply requirements for a Sonic Sysems 'MicroPrint' Network/Din Adapter? I need Voltage, AC or DC and is ground shield or pin?

Thanks For Looking!

Simon

I purchased mine used so I don't know for certain if the power supply that came with it (named CONDOR) is the original. I think it is though and, either way, it seems to work.

INPUT: 120 VAC

OUTPUT: 5 VDC, inner pin positive

Thanks, Action,

It is up and has a steady pwr. LED now but I have no recognition in the aLink or Bridge LED's. Do you use a driver with your unit? What do you use it with?

I suppose my unit may be toast but I will try to get some action through it for a while more.

Thanks again for your reply.

Simon

I have one here, but since I use a proper router these days, it's been a long, long time since it was used!

Are you using coax ethernet or 10Base-T ? There's a little switch next to the coax connector that needs to be set appropriately.

Also, I don't recall testing one of these with a 10/100 switch port, but I remember some similar products refused to work with 10/100 switches - the switch port needed to be locked to 10Mb.

I think it's just a "dumb" bridge, so you probably don't need to set the ethernet zone or anything like that, but someone else may have more information on that.

[EDIT] and no, it doesn't need drivers, it just makes localtalk only network printers appear on an ethernet LAN.
