So I have a monitor that is supposed to work with the video card. I had to switch pins 1 and 2. I might ave to swap pins 5 and 6 but I don’t understand pin 6?

What I found out while looking at the connection to the monitor is that there are the connections:

1 - video signal A
2 - nothing
3 - horizontal sync
4 - vertical sync
5 - nothing
6 - video signal B
7 - video ground
8 - horizontal black - ground
9 - vertical black - ground

What does video A and video B even mean? Both cables go to the neck of the monitor?
Included are some pictures that show the connections.

When connecting to the “Extron RGB-HDMI 300 A" I only use the video A signal so why does the monitor require a video B signal?

Does anyone know where I can find information on the monitor? Inside it says that it is a Zenith Electronic Corp model 19MOM3.

Hello,

I have the same, but 25Mhz version, not 33Mhz.

But the position of the jumper is the same :

RAM :

Jumper to 0M = No RAM on the Mobius board.

Jumper to 4/8/16M = four SIMMs on the Mobius board (four 1MB or 2MB or 4MB SIMM).

By the way, if you have 70ns SIMMs, you can remove W12 shunt to run the board at 1 wait state.

FPU : Jumper to 25M if a FPU is installed.

The Mobius board run very well with System 7.0.1, Mobius Driver (v4.99), Compact Virtual 3.0 and 16MB on the Mobius board (4MB on the SE board are used as RAM disk).

The Mobius board has 64KB VRAM and was sold with a monitor (One Page Display or Two Page Display), but I found it without.

The Mobius Display driver seems to work well... I tried to do a video cable and connect it to a monitor but failed, I think I don't have the right monitor :-(

Got my hands on a Mobius 33Mhz card. I put 16mb (60ns) of RAM on the board and removed the W2 jumper as per the docs. The issue I'm facing is that the OS still only sees 4mb of RAM and not the full 16mb. The Mobius control does see the 16mb of RAM. Am I missing something?

Am I missing something?

You need to install Compact Virtual to actually use the RAM as actual system memory.
Without it the accelerator uses just the 4MB of the accelerator RAM that fit into the hardware memory map.

I bought an old SE a couple of weeks ago, and started to have fun disassembling it - and to my surprise discovered that it had a Mobius expansion, which I only identified by discovering this post - so thanks for that
I have a nagging question now - since I like to tinker a bit - have anyone maybe tried to go beyond the 25Mhz by swapping 030, 882 and frequency crystal on it - it would be fun to go to 40 or 50Mhz
