Macintosh 512 case repair

I might be a glutton for punishment, but I have a Mac 512 with a cracked case which I'd like to repair. I *suspect* it may ultimately need painting, but I'm trying to glue it back together as a first step - given that the cracks disappear with the right pressure applied.

Can anyone recommend a suitable adhesive? I did consider Super Glue, but I've never had great results. Thanks!

Perhaps you can apply the right pressure when you refit the monitor - lever the frame against the bolts of the monitor to create some compression on that side - super glue will be a disaster if any of it gets to the front

Apply blue painter's tape firmly to the outside, over the cracks.

Apply a few drops of acetone at a time to the inside.

Wait about 15 minutes before pulling the tape off.

Squeeze a few drops of epoxy resin (big drops) on the back and bury some thick iron wire into the epoxy resin for reinforcement
