So I acquired a non-working LC475 a while back, and I managed to resurrect it by recapping both the PSU and logic board. That got it to boot and it seemingly was ok and stable.
I started to upgrade it bit by bit with the intention of making it my overclocking monster. I installed BlueSCSI2, 60ns VRAM and @Bolle 's 128KB Cache thingy. All seemed fine except that on cold boot, I didn't get a chime, but other than that, it was rock solid at 40MHz and went through benchmarks just fine.
All I now needed was an MC88916, so I bought a few from AliExpress. They looked legit enough, so I went on with the swap. While I was at it, I also did the R96 to R95 swap.
I decided to touch up a few dodgy-looking pins on U30, thinking that would help with the cold boot chime. The telltale fishy smell gave me confidence that this should fix it. It did.
However, the ADB is now absolutely dead. There is no keyboard or mouse at all. Everything else works, and it boots to the Finder with caches and 40 MHz. Obviously without a keyboard I can't disable them but the mouse doesn't work when the cursor appears.
Where should I start looking? U29 looks absolutely fine visually.
