I didn't do any serious testing. It has similar performance to the figures from the first post as it uses the same chipset, though I'm not sure if it can use Nubus block transfers or anything that might result in more bandwidth when framebuffer updates are happening.

Through a lucky Yahoo Auctions Japan find, I've got my mitts on one of the most competent video cards for the SE/30 (and IIsi).

Resolution support is extensive, it supports resolution changes without reboot, respects sense lines, and goes up to 1152x870 at 24 bit or 1280x1024 at 8 bit. This is also quite possibly the only video card for 030 PDS machines that features acceleration. It helps a lot - even an CPU-accelerated SE/30 crawls trying to push pixels at 24 bit. As a dumb framebuffer, it is just slightly slower than the micron, but with acceleration on the GrandVimage is far faster at QuickDraw, especially at higher bit depths/resolution.

It came with a mystery bracket along with a bracket to mount the rear bracket in an IIsi - not quite sure what the mystery bracket fits. Maybe also for the IIsi. I've attached highres pics and more fun info.

All original hardware, ROM, etc.
2GB internal physical SCSI and ZuluSCSI Pico2 Slim

• 32 Mode
• Original Daystar System Software from floppies with the board
• GrandVimage v1.3.1b control panel (Have not found v1.4.1b2 anywhere)

I am working with an HP E233 LCD monitor and a DB15 to HD15 adaptor with 10 dip switches until I can find something more period appropriate. Hoping for a beige legacy 15" NEC 4:3 LCD.

So far everything is working great expect I am only able to get 640x480x24bit and everything in the GrandVimage v1.3.1b control panel is disabled including slot selection. I have reviewed the translated manual for the Interware Vimage SE/30 24bit Video Card and tried some of the resolution selection keys on startup with no luck.

I am looking for any suggestions to get video out like you have shown. Any help is greatly appreciated! So close!

VImage is not an accelerated card, only GrandVimage is. It may not have an extension.

I am not quite sure how resolution selection works on the basic Vimage but it may just be the "hold key at boot to rotate through supported resolutions" type. I can't recall the keys used but the grandvimage manual i linked might indicate what the later cards used, you could try it and see what happens.
