Hello MLAers! We've re-enabled auto-approval for accounts. If you are still waiting on account approval, please check this thread for more information.
I just got this NIC for an SE/30 that was sold as working, but I can't figure out who made it, so I can't get the right drivers. The seller claims to not know either. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Okay, I found another thread where it said to use the Farallon drivers. I had that driver disk on hand, so I tried it, and it seems to be detected correctly now. Now I just need to find an ethernet cable and see if I can convince it to connect.
Yours is very similar to mine. Same components for the most part, just moved around. And what do you know... Mine also says ASERIES V1.0! And it was Farallon I was thinking of, not Asante (as you found out yourself).
Must have been some generic card sold back in the day.
