The led is yellow, its size is round and standard, it plugs directly on the HD:

Yup, its yellow and standard. But that connector may not fit all hard drives, especially non-standard Mac Drives.

In my SE/30 this is the same led with a thinner HD connector, but that doesn't matter since (if you don't have the right thing already) you have just to buy a led and solder two wires between the led and the HD led connector and you'll be on the way
