double the sensitivity of your sluggish Apple desktop mouse

Really clever control panel, thanks for sharing this. Immediately added it to my default SCSI image for the battery-less SE/30.

I notice there's also a "Mouse3" cdev mentioned on the page, and now I'm curious if this is an incremental update or functional improvement in any way.

Just to wonder? Why would you need this on a screen the size of an SE/30’s?

I feel the tracking is very slow compared to my moderns computers. I actually need to pickup my mouse to get across the screen on my SE/30 because not enough real estate on my desk.

Even with it set to the speediest that it will go in the Mouse control panel?

Specifically the G5341 is a very sluggish mouse compared to others. Even on an SE/30 with the speed in the mouse control panel maxed, it. still
doesnt feel too snappy...this fixed the issue perfectly.

Very interesting, I will need to see if I have any of those particular mice to try. Ultimately, yes, it’s a different feel than today’s machines because there is so much more real estate to cover. On the flip side, crazy fast mouse movement makes pinpoint control more of an issue.

well I wouldn't say they're real slow but just a little slower than I like them even maxed out. I have a power computing ADB mouse that feels twice as fast.

Huh, weird. I don’t even have the mouse tracking turned all the way up on my 640x480+ screen size Macs. Usually second or third to highest is the sweet spot for me.

Now, the tracking selections under System 1 and 2, on the other hand (Mouse and Tablet) could certainly use something like this.

I probably like my mouse abnormally fast. To each their own. I don't like pulling my mouse all the way across the mouse pad.

The slow mouse is the most annoying thing about running a system without a PRAM battery for me, so this seems like it would be most useful in that scenario.
