Color StyleWriter 2400

I have an Apple Color StyleWriter 2400 that was untested, but had been moving even as recently as this morning. However, now when plugging it in there is a high pitched whine, the power button does nothing, and the power light never comes on. Any ideas where to look?

Thanks a lot. Any ideas how to get into it? I don’t see a screw on the entire thing.

Probably plastic fasteners, never had one myself.
