color classic bezel repair

 I bought a color classic on ebay the other day.  When it arrived the front and side had been cracked in the shipping process.  does anyone have a recommendation or process for repair?  I was thinking of disassembling the unit and applying some kind of bonding agent to the inside so it is less visible .

using something like duco cement, or a good expoxy, and depending on how bad the damage is, bonding it

from the inside...the plastic is usually brittle....and in certain cases, begins to go thru 'yellowing'
