Can I port gmail using 8.1 onto my Color Classic with a LC 575

Hi...
 
In the past I was unable to send and receive email (gmail) on my CC II running 7.6.  Now I have installed a LC 575 logic board and I am running 8.1. I read about ways that included building a raspberry pi and some software.  But other then that.....
 
I have made some progress.  I have set up NetPresenz  4.1 on my Color Classic, and File Zilla on my windows 10 box.  I can now down load Mac files into windows 10 box and then FTP them to my Color Classic.

I used Eudora for many years in the 1990s.  I would enjoy using it again. Can I get gmail to work with it?
 
I read that because of some newer security things, this is impossible now.
