Building a Spotify player for my Mac SE/30

I just got the BlueSCSI v2 with WIFI running on my Mac Portable. I'm wondering if this software will work with that? Has anyone tried this with less than a 68030 Mac?

I've got a BlueSCSI v2 installed in my Mac SE/30 as well. Trying to get it going via the WebOne SSL tunneling in MacIPRpi. @nottomhanks you have any luck?

Not sure @ants is keeping up with this project anymore. The Mac WIFI app they wrote is specifically designed to work with the OpenWRT router they were using and from my limited networking knowledge, WebOne is only a proxy server for web browsers, and I don't seem to find a way to funnel all networking traffic from the classic Mac through it to get the MacPlayer app to authorize over SSL.
I'm going to go about this what may be an easier way, setup a web server that scrapes Spotify now playing data, and renders it on a simple HTTP webpage you can load up on the classic Mac. I'd love to figure out a way to have it dither the album art on a modern browser as well.

It's nearly a year since this comment so I don't have high hopes but I'm really curious: hey @hifimac, did you ever make any progress on this? I have an SE/30 with network access sitting above my daily workstation, and I would *love* to have it just display the cover art of whatever I happen to be listening to in Spotify...

thanks @ants for making this amazing spotify player for the SE/30 way back in 2018!! it was a huge inspiration for my TigerTunes project.

for those interested this is a project I've been working on for a couple years now that allows you to stream Spotify and AirPlay on PowerPC and Intel legacy macs 10.4+ - see screenshot below of the legacy Spotify client running on my sunflower iMac G4 sorbet leopard install. I just added a new release to GitHub that added AirPlay support - i'll link that latest release below.

download here-->TigerTunes v1.0.0-RC1

first download the modern bridge DMG to your modern arm64/apple silicon mac - this modern Swift app that is fully notarized with Apple allows you to crate an AirPlay or Spotify Connect device on your home network. and then install either the AirPlay or Spotify app DMGs to your legacy PowerPC mac - these clients will auto connect to the modern swift bridge app and allow you to listen to the music from your legacy mac computer.

Some others are helping me test over on the vintage apple reddit, see link below.
