We've had all other kinds of crazy converters come out of the woodwork these last few years, so how about somebody taking up this challenge?
I have an ATAPI Zip 250 -> SCSI Zip converter on hand, but the adapter requires a 5.25" bay. It works well enough until the shutdown command, then it hangs the system, every time without fail. I'd loan it out to whoever picks up the gauntlet if it might help.
