ADB on a Yikes! G4?

I'm going to pretend my Sawtooth didn't hear that.

Sawtooth G4's were decent. AGP Graphics, Redesigned Motherboard and better RAM capacities. And they predate the Digital Audio.

Anything less than a Digital Audio is crap.

Nonsense! Any G4 is super-awesome (except iBooks, with that stupid flaw where pressing the power button gradually breaks the logic board - most of the G4s were made before Apple quality went) - I love G3s and think they were some of the best Macs ever made (both the Beiges and the colour-Macs - very powerful, well built and ground-breaking designs from the colour-Macs, things we don't see so much of from Apple today), and so the G4s must be the same, only better. A Yikes is of course as good as a B&W G3 (which is awesome!), except with the addition of AltiVec and so compatibility with some of the new apps coming out now that are AltiVec only, and Leopard of course.

Let me know how it goes. I just got my hands on a 350MHz Yikes, and I'd love to use my Kensington TurboMouse 5.0 on it.

Edit: Nevermind, I realized mine was a Sawtooth.

i take it it spossible to take a b&w G3 board take the G3 cpu of it and replace it with the yikes! G4 ? because thats all a yikes! is

Nah, I haven't gotten around to it yet. What with school stuff, and vacation, and life, and laziness, and this, and that, I just haven't bothered yet. I will though

Besides, I finally have an ADB Port to solder in there

or just look for a b&w G3 board pull the G4 of the yikes! and you basically have the same machine

less hassle too
