It looks like four matched 512k SIMMs will likely cost something like a buck and change less than the card! :-/
Try contacting Herb Johnson. He might be able to set you up at a better price. The offerings on Ebay are awfully thin right now. Jeeze. It wasn't that long ago I bought pairs and sets of four for a price that was clearly designed to just make it worth putting the stuff in a box. Definitely under $20. Oh well. Even if Herb has it, it will still be $40 plus shipping, which I guess is pretty close to what you spent on the card.

Herb doesn't have a slick interface, but he's been selling stuff to us collectors for years. I've had good dealings with him as have others.
What's the best way of telling the 1/2MB and 2/4MB versions apart?
For the Apple cards, I do not know of a simple way. One should be able to tell from the part numbers on the on-board VRAM chips.
I actually meant your stock of 32MB, 72 pin (?) SIMMs, I was hoping they'd be the type I need to beef up the 81/110's 32MB config.
Oh. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I think I answered this in PM a few days ago, but in case the old wetware is imagining things again...
Yes, I have a near infinite supply of 32 MB 72 pin SIMMs and they are exactly the right memory for maxing out your 8100. They're still $3 each plus $3 shipping. So one SIMM is $6 shipped. Ten SIMMs are $33 shipped.
If I PM'ed you a few days ago, I think I rambled on about 64MB and 128MB SIMMs. The 8100 can't use them, so in the case of the 8100, the 32MB SIMM actually is the maximum choice. Oh, the 8100 will work with 64/128 MB SIMMs, but it treats them as 1/4 the capacity.
