180MHz 603ev CPU upgrade for 5300ce?

According to a PDF entitled 'Apple ROM Matrix', there is a listing for a ROM with checksum 852CFBDF for 'PowerBook 5300 and Assistive Technology Freestyle'

Don't got it. It's listed in the MacROMan GitHub repository but is not included in that repository's TestImages folder.

Oddly, https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1wB2HnysPp63fezUzfgpk0JX_b7bXvmAg6-Dk7QDyKPY/ has it (which makes sense, since it and MacROMan track each other), but it includes details that imply that I had the ROM at some point to validate -- but if that were the case, it should be in TestImages.

I'm curious if the PDF is just a printout of my spreadsheet of the same name?

FYI This list is missing the PB1400 166MHz ROM... in case you're able to request an update.

I would like a copy of that dump when you get around to it. Or maybe someone with a complete 5300 can do it.

Oh yes, haven't forgotten. The thing is, I'm out of town. If a PB5300 user hasn't done it by the weekend after next, I'll get on it.

PB1400 166 dump added to the sheet now. I'm also looking forward to the 5300 dump :)

Excellent. Some additional data for the 1400/166:

-The CPU is a 603ev
- It supports 8-64MB (this applies to the early 1400 ROM as well).
- We're assuming it will boot Mac OS 7.5.2 but I'm not sure if that's been confirmed. I suppose there's no real reason it shouldn't.

n.b. There's a bit of a misconception floating around about some models only supporting up to 56MB, but IMHO it's a misunderstanding of a technical issue.
