Yesterday pick up..

So was supposed to fly out and see my dad. Haven’t seen him in long time. Get up at 3:30 am and get myself to the toronto airport by 5:30. Two hour drive on very little sleep. Get to airport on to be told 6:30 flight was canceled and they switched to 10:30pm. I am pissed. My sister is travelling with me too. Anyways we decided to say f -it and went back to her place. 2,hour drive. I thought well, i minus well go home too. Looking on Facebook marketplace i saw a mac bundle of stuff. An lc 475, mac clone, printer, keyboards, etc. so i message the guy and he said it was available. Great! Now its 11:30, and its a over a two hour drive to get it.. still pissed, still tired, I decide.. f-it, only live once lol.. so i went and snagged it all for $180. Then a two hour drive home..

What did I get? Lc475, supermac c500, bunch of mac keyboards (new and old) external 800k floppy drive, and a cool mac 128k / 512k external hard drive?? Sweet

So shit day turned out not bad.. just exhausted.

Haven’t seen my dad in 3 years, so been tough. Only had friday morning to Sunday morning to go. Since they f’ed up my flight I would only get to see him for like a day and a bit, so not worth it with time difference and all that. Will have to make other arrangements.

Well, more like right time (was just listed) and was able to get it. Ontario, especially the greater Toronto area has lots of collectors so its who can get there first lol.. some people Will change the price after they get many responses thinking they priced it too cheap

Well done. Having a lot of possible items to purchase is definately a luxury that we don't have in Tasmania. The external drive is cool

Yes, I consider myself lucky. Southern Ontario has a lot of people, and a lot of cities and towns. There seems to be always seems to be something popping up from the next town over to 3-4 hour drive away etc. sometimes the drive is definitely worth it. You never know when something is found in a garage, attic, basement etc..
