Yes, We're Finally Back online again, what happened to everything anyway's, LCGuy said something about backups, if it's needed though i can backup the server to tape every week, wouldnt be that big of a deal.

The hosting company(now i think the ex hosting company)'s server hard drive died. happened to be the server this site is hosted on. the company claimed they had backups of the sql database(not sure if they claimed to have backups of everything else, but i imagine they did), didn't in fact have backups. The choice was use a backup from feb 2006, or start from scratch, so the forums started from scratch. It feels all nice and clean, just like a new operating installation ^_^

Well At least we're all back together again! i was starting to miss this place!

as for me backing up the server, I can't seem to find an option to backup a remote host in retrospect anymore

I'm sure now Tom and all the other admins are going to back up the sql database a bit more often.
