You can do that to the Wiki? Have other's done so? I used to have my Mars478.Mine.nu website with all my macs, but links got disabled and I was nuked. I just shorted down my sig by removing spaces as you can see by it's current rev.
you DO realise that that goes to your router login page? (NETGEAR WGR614v9)

I dunno why it does that! DynDNS has some problems.

For info I have a Linksys Black N router.

I took the site down because it was hurting my internet because I was hosting some stuff on there.

If you're not hosting anything it's probably in your best interest to just disable DynDNS all together.

Yeah, but I want to have that URL saved once I set up my Server over in NJ where we do not use the internet over the week.

You could always put a speed cap on it.

If you have... 5mb upload, you could devote a mb or two without it making too noticible of a differance.

So no Macintosh programmers recognize the irony?

Code:
Str255
I do!

I don't mind the 255 character limit. It keeps sigs from being obnoxiously large and it forces people to be clever in how they list their Macs. Anything over 3 or 4 lines is obnoxious. A sig shouldn't be bigger than the average post, IMO.

If you have read the book hackers or read any hacker books you'll know what it is. LISP.

What everyone else said. Your sig is irritatingly ginormous, macgeek417, and I've been pondering pointing it out to you for a while. Please trim it.

You can link to the wiki by putting a link inside wiki tags.

Heck, the wiki lets you create subpages [wiki]User:Cory5412/machines/Schlangenbeschwoerer[/wiki]
Thanks for the tip, Cory. I'll gradually move to that system.

what happens when I want to add a machine to the list? :disapprove:
Make a wiki page and link to that.
I might just do that, but I think a new wiki account, new page, text of that page, and a link to the page would take up more database space than an extra few characters in my signature.

How does this help?

Code:
(\_/)
(O.o)
(> <) This is Bunny. Copy Bunny into your signature to help him on his way to world domination.
Having a virus in your signature and then claiming there isn't enough room.....

Maybe I would, but 255chars is a bit small, even if I trimmed it.

If it was back at 500chars, I might trim a line or two off...

(hint, hint)

:p

Oh and out of curiosity i just tried trimming a few lines from my sig but its still around 400-450chars.

It's not database space that's the problem - it's screen space. Your 300 lines of BS is just rude.
