There's some good stuff there like a boxed MacOS 8 but definitely not enough to justify the price considering the centerpiece is one of the worst Macs ever made.

Isn't there anyway to have phpBB truncate the link? I've seen some other

CMS forums that take the link and truncate it with an ellipsis in the middle

so that it doesn't cause this problem.

(Yes, I hit Enter at each line so that it would be easy to read.)

Not that I've seen, though I haven't looked for a while. phpBB 3 does it automagically, so it won't be a problem once we (finally) upgrade to that...

Luckily with eBay auctions you can just chop off everything after the item number and it doesn't make a difference, so who knows why they put all that crud in the URL anyway -- probably just to annoy people like us [)] ]'>

This doesn't sound as bad as the one regarding "THE FIRST COMPUTER EVAR" for $10Gs or so (it was an Apple IIe :p ). Heard it on RetroMacCast a few weeks ago.

Didn't somebody mention that on here, in Trading Post or the Apple II spot? I laughed a bit on that one. I kind of wonder how they figured it qualified for such a description.

Lots of stuff, just way overpriced and nothing special (the computer itself is not one of my favorites).

Would cost a decent amount to box and ship all that (nobody would pay it).

He needs to find a local who wants it for free.

Its a sad, sad world....

Speaking of which, I just realised that the auction has it listed has having a DVD-ROM drive, and a 40GB HDD? Um...what? That CD-ROM drive, to me at least anyway, looks like a stocky, and while its very possible that it may have a 40GB HDD, I doubt it.
