Vintage Mac browsing with theoldnet.com

Maybe you guys have already seen this, but I just discovered theoldnet.com!  I've been wanting to browse the web with my vintage Macs but the lack of unsecure web sites makes this difficult.  This site has a ton of links to unsecure sites to explore - good times!  Anyone know of any other sites like this out there?

Something that can be worth a try: https://github.com/ttalvitie/browservice

This supposedly works similar to WRP, but a bit more sophisticated and for more "modern" machines. If you have a Pi or similar in the middle, this could be a good option.
Didn't even know about Web Rendering Proxies!  This site shows how to set up WRP step-by-step on a Raspberry Pi.  I've already got an old Pi emulating the modem for my BBS and hosting A2SERVER, so I might as well give it another task!

This is neat!

It's not quite as fun as having an actual browser running and rendering sites directly on the old Mac or PC in question, but it's certainly quite usable and does better than even the best vintage browsers still available!

And the video on the Github site is using NT 4.0 to demonstrate, and it appears to work quite well.  It's really quite compelling!

I have my Pi 2 Rev. B out and configured with an OS, so perhaps I can give this a try, since with the COVID-19 restrictions still in place (and the likelihood of more coming to No. CA in the near future *sigh*...), I have nothing but free time....
