I have an SE with the same card ! And a working HD etc. will do a small clean up after a minor battery leak. I am also looking for info about the card. Will hooking it up to a Color crt or new multi sync lcd do any damage?

Edit: not entirely the same card… Mine says MoDAM Se rev B Memory Plus. And has 9Dsub port.

I have one of these in my SE/30. 640x480 256. Works well with Mac OS 7.5-8.1.
I have not found software for it so I'm using it with standard Mac video drivers.

Hi all!
Some (bad) news about this puppy.

My friend tryid to save it yesterday in the evening during a Twitch live session and unfortunatly, the battery did vomit too much ...
So he will try so unsolder as many chips as he can to let me try to resurrect this machine using a brand new PCB.

If you are curious, here is the link to the Twitch replay (he began to restore a Sega system then switched to my Mac at about 1h36m30s).
Sorry, this is in French:

If you have any advice to my future work of resurrection ... ^^
Of course, I am thinking of buying one from https://github.com/kr239/Macintosh-SE-Reloaded

Hi!
As said in my previous post, the motherboard is dead. My friend tried to recover as many chips as possible but some were unusable.
So I had a choice to do …
- Try to reconstruct a new MB from Kai Robinson's work
- Try to find a new MB

I've found a new MB quite close to me sold for 60€. This one was very clean and comes with 4MB of RAM (mine was surely in stock 1MB configuration).
Ordering a new MB from PCBWay/JLCPCB in France would cost me almost the same price for 5 pieces … and I would have to buy and solder all components etc so I choose the easiest way and bought the new MB (the guy was asking 90€ but I got it for 60).

Now I'm waiting for it to test the video card.

@larsove Do you have drivers and/or documentation about this card ?
I still don't know if the HDD is still working.

I've checked how the DB15 is made and I think that some pins are tied together (look at the white one in the attached picture 5595)

Maybe one day I will get a new PCB from Kai to put my chips on it … or I will keep them as backup chips.

Some news ...

This puppy is living and it's HDD is still working !!!
I did the trick to boot from my bluescsi with the internal HDD attached and so I could backup its content.
The floppy disk drive died in front of me (continuously trying to eject a floppy; gear problem no ?)

About the video card, the only piece of System software I've found I don't know is named "Publisher V2.40B". I will analyse more precisely the system folder content asap.

On the DA-15 connector, there is a wire that is disconnected and I'm not sure where to reconnect. Some pins seem to be unwired. By looking at the bending of this wire and the available pins, I have an idea of where it should be reconnected but I would prefer to be sure.

If anyone has any info, I'm interested !
