Seeking After Dark

This is my seek. I can find it, however obscured (FTP passwords, broken links...), incomplete packages (After Dark 3 @ macintoshgarden) and the patched OS 9.2.2 package (After Dark 4 for OS 9.2.2 @ macintoshgarden).

I don't know why After Dark is non-disclosed abandonware like A/UX is.

I want the flying toasters to run on my Windows box running SheepShaver and Basilisk II in full-screen. Already tried something named "ToasterClone" however the links point to "#".

This reminds me, I should image my AD floppies before they rot. I'm still hopeful that someday I'll learn how to write an OS X screensaver module, and then extract the Star Trek resources from mine and once again have Spock walk around my screen.

Aaa-aaa-aah, bitter dregs....

Just use the patched OS 9.2.2 version - I've had success using it on System 7.5.

Good luck - I haven't been able to run After Dark 2, 3 or 4 under Sheepshaver with OS8.6 on my Windows XP machine. I can see some of the modules run is preview mode, but AD never runs as a full-screen saver.

Actually, how did you manage to install After Dark on Sheepshaver? After much rummaging through my garage I found my After Dark Deluxe CD (with After Dark 4.0 and the Star Trek Posters) with the idea of installing it on Sheepshaver. After restarting the program, it boots up and then abruptly quits. Ideas anyone?
