Replacement for Deflection Connector

In my Mac-Plus the connector going from the yoke to the analog board has been fried to a crisp due to intermittent contact. I tried to clean and tighten the charred remains of the contacts, but the horizontal width is never quite stable because there is no more any firm and low resistance connection on the hot horizontal deflection pin.

So in my desperation I resorted to desperate methods

But that's just not proper. So after much searching I came across the correct parts on Mouser: It is a 1/4 inch (6.35 mm) pitch Mate-N-Lok connector. The one I found there has the retention latch on the narrow sides instead of the broad side like the original, but this should not matter.

I am writing this down here so all that searching can be useful for someone else who has the same problem. Even if I prove to be too lazy or stingy to actually order the part, someone else might want to do it.

A few years ago I found the originals on Mouser. Useful if you need just one side. I’ll see if I can find them again.

That's a good suggestion.

However, 350793-1 and 350779-1 are 6.35mm (0.250") pitch products, but the direction of the pin hole is different from the actual product, so I checked it.

I think the following product with 6.70mm (0.264") pitch is correct.

Thanks for pointing out the errors of my ways - I would have liked to edit my original post so no one gets mislead by the wrong part numbers, but this function does not seem to exist. EDIT: ah, edits can only be made within a grace period.
I had no idea that 6.7mm was a valid pitch. But yeah, re-measuring with my calipers shows 6.7mm to be correct.
So everyone, please disregard my mouser links, the ones posted by @mari3311 are correct.
