Really Weird Floppy Drive issue Macintosh Classic

So got my Macintosh Classic up and working but when inserting a floppy in the drive it will spin for about a second then nothing. Nothing on the screen changes and I've tried another drive same thing and then when trying my floppy emu both internal and external it will just freeze when selecting the disk. I've also changed the SWIM Chip out and nothing changed. A quick note about the emu it will freeze when selecting a disk no matter what or where you are with the startup process it will always crash.

Has the board been recapped? Also look for bad traces, especially near the SWIM chip. Sometimes traces can be bad under components too, so I recommend testing traces near the capacitors with a multimeter.

EDIT: Just checked, some traces from the SWIM chip actually go under the C8/C9 capacitors (and possibly C6?), so I'd study that part of the board. :)

Can you post any pics of your logic board? Someone here might be able to spot something amiss. Agree with @8bitbubsy about checking traces around the SWIM chip.
