Radius Color Pivot Question

Hi there,

I know there have been several threads on this, and I have read them all, but I still have a question.  I have a stock SE/30 which, I just discovered, has a Radius Color Pivot card (I had removed all extraneous stuff years ago when I was trying to get it up and running).  The label reads "1992 Radius Inc Color Pivot V2.4".  My question is, "For those of you who have a similar set-up, what LCD displays work with this?"  Thank you very much.

Mike

You need a multisync panel because it only puts out the oddball "flicker free" resolutions/scan rates Apple came up with back in the day. No "standard 60Hz-only" VGA panel will work with that card.

Dell UltraSyncs work a charm.

I have multiple old Compaq TFT8030 LCDs that sync to nearly everything. It even lists the Apple resolutions from back then in the datasheet.

It even syncs to the pivot resolution the Radius cards are putting out - the picture is distorted then though but at least there is a picture.

I've been running a mix of 7.5.somethingorother and 7.1 on everything for quite some time. I've only tested the SE/30 card, my focus has been on the IIsi version. I bought a pretty good size card lot just to get the cable included with that card for the RCPII/IIsi project.

Update:  It runs just fine on 7.6.1 and an NEC 18 inch multisync panel..  Now I will have to try it out on 8.1.
