My 3400c work fine except one issue.
Does not shut down.I have removed the pram battery. I suspect the hard disk.Is it possible the hard disk to caused this problem?
Otherwise work very fine the computer.

Boot with extensions off (hold shift on startup). I had this exact problem (with my 3400 as well funny enough) and it was caused by a patched CD extension of all things.

Huh. Mine just froze, still try the extensions idea, but it sounds like something might be wrong in the power circuit. Did the PRAM battery leak at all before it was removed?

Doesn‘t look too bad. Beyond checking the motherboard under the battery and the power board for corrosion, I’m not sure. You could always try recapping it?
