PowerPC Options/Cards for IIfx?

This has probably been asked a million times and I'm guessing the answer is no, but I'm curious to know if there was any attempt by Apple or a third-party developer to offer some form of PowerPC expandability for the 68030 IIfx?

Has anyone been successful in getting PowerPC software to run on their IIfx? You know, for the lulz.

The only PPC upgrades for 68k macs I know of are from Daystar (sold by Daystar and Apple, various versions for 030 PDS, 040 PDS and 040 CPU socket). They don't support the IIfx and I've not heard of anyone bodging it to work.

So, short answer is no. Long answer is, anything is possible with loads of work and enough budget 😆

Best you can get in a IIfx is an 040 with the TokaMac040 but even that is impossible to find. Radius Rockets also work in the IIfx but not as accelerators as such - the host will still run as an 030 and the Rocket gives you an 040 Mac running in a separate 'session' inside a window.
