PowerMac G5 Dual Core 2.0GHz GPU

I recently acquired a Dual Core 2.0GHz PowerMac G5, but it didn't come with a graphics card. What's the best place to look to find and buy a graphics card for this machine? It doesn't have to be anything fancy, just enough to run 10.4.11 and classic mode.

Thanks!

They generally came with GF 6600s in basic trim levels. Not great but not terrible. These are faster than basically any video card that came stock in a computer that could natively run Classic Mac OS (the best of those being either the GF 4 Ti or Radeon 9000) so it should suit your needs fairly well. There should be plenty of OE cards pretty cheaply available because there's little to no demand for them. On the top end is the Quadro FX 4500 and there were some official third-party cards as well but these are expensive. Flashed versions usually aren't quite so expensive and are usually easier to find.

I use a Radeon 9000 given the chance for OS 9. I had the GeForce4 Ti and that unfortunately had its fan lock up and died. The 9000 is more than enough for OS 9 anyway.
