Hello everyone,
I have a PowerBook G3 Wallstreet with 9.2 installed. 233MHz model with 256MB of RAM. The machine runs fine with OS 9, but I decided I'd install Mac OS X. I read that Jaguar (10.2) is officially supported with the machine, so I decided to install that.
So I booted up from my Jaguar CD and partitioned the hard drive (10GB in total) for the first 7 GB to be an OS X hard drive and the remaining to be an OS 9 hard drive. So OS X installed fine, but when it restarts I get a prohibitory symbol (A circle with a slash through it), this image:
I don't know why it's doing this, I can boot into OS 9 fine, but this is giving me trouble. I've used these install discs before and it's worked fine before. Shouldn't it try and boot up to finish creating the user accounts? If I remember correctly it should eject disc 1 and ask me to put in disc 2.
Any help would be great, thanks! ;D
