PowerBook 100 "No battery reserve power remains" error

Hi, I just finished recapping my PowerBook 100, and everything seems to work great, except for the error the pops up above. There's no battery in the laptop, and I saw something mentioning it may not work right if both the PRAM batteries and main battery were in-op, so I swapped those too and it still doesn't stay on. Does anyone know what I need to do to keep it running? Thanks!!

Well, I fixed it, I accidentally had the backup battery switch in the off position, and now that I flipped it back on it works perfectly. Thanks!!!

I had exactly the same symptom on a PowerBook 100 but the backup battery switch did not solve if. For me, it turned out to be the main 5A fuse, F1, that had blown. As soon as I shorted that, the problem went away. I’ve replaced the fuse now and the board is fully working. I hope this helps others.

Your information about FUSE is excellent.
I have had the same problem for the past 4 years, but it turned out that my FUSE was also broken.
Based on your information, it seems almost certain that buying a new FUSE will solve the problem.
Thank you.
