PowerBase 200 - No ADB

Thought I'd post this issue in a separate thread, for clarity.

Everything else appears to be functioning as intended, except ADB.

It was working when I put it all together a few nights ago, then when I tried powering it on the following morning, there was no ADB!

Anyone know what could've happened?

Also, does anyone know: will the PS/2 ports work at boot, or do they need to have special software/drivers loaded first? I ask because this machine has both, and if ADB is out, maybe I can use PS/2 instead.

OK, I solved this by replacing the logic board again... with the old one I thought was dead all these years!

Check the solder joints on Apple chip 341S0788 on the bad board.  That's the CUDA chip which handles ADB.   I've seen them go bad/come lose before.

OK, I'll take a look. There was a chip with some corrosion (can't remember which one), but as the board seemed to be working at first despite it, I figured it wasn't a problem.

I shall reexamine....
