Possible way to use Flash on os9?

I was looking on the web at open source alternatives to using flash since there are no updates for os9 and older computers. Since Classilla is actively being developed I wonder if this link will help, http://github.com/tobeytailor/gordon . According to many news sites, Gordon is a flash player written entirely in JavaScript. Please let me know if this discovery is useful for the handful of us who use older technology.

Gordon is a clever hack, but for Classilla purposes won't be anything more than that. Try running some of the Gordon demos in, say, Camino 1.6 (and then get ready to Force Quit your browser). Not only are the Gordon demos extremely processor-intensive on a JS interpreter, and even Classilla 9.2 won't be a speed demon, but they also require HTML 5 support that Classilla's layout support just doesn't have yet.

In short, Gordon is really only useful for platforms with very current HTML 5 and JavaScript support, and with the exception of AmigaOS and friends (which have Origyn), pretty much all of those platforms have a better alternative for Flash, even Gnash or SWFDec.

I think the best approach is to try porting Gnash to NPAPI, but I've got my hands full just working on Classilla itself. Still, though, I appreciate the sentiment.
