Plopping an SSD in a B/W

I'm asking mostly as a sanity check...I bought the 120GB SATA to IDE kit (actually 2, one is going in my iMac G3 as soon as I get up the nerve to take it apart :D ) for my rev 2 blue and white, it looks like the former owner opted for the ultra scsi raid card and one of the drives is currently the boot drive. I'd rather keep that stuff installed and use the ssd as the main os9 drive. I just need an IDE cable from the ssd to the logic board right? the kit comes with a molex power male and female, can I just daisychain that in with the scsi drives?

I mainly just don't want to fry anything20230909_143714.jpg

You should be fine to daisy chain the power from any other source. And all you need is the IDE cable to motherboard and you should be golden.
