I finally got a SE Mac to go with the Centris 610 I have.  Thought it would be a nice addition with the monochrome monitor.  Reminds me of Jr. High I went to that had mac classic II's.

When I turned it on it has the ? come up and I happened to have a 6.0.8 boot disk that started the boot process but blew up with a bomb error after about 30 seconds.  Rebooted and it then seemed to boot to the desktop just fine where I could check the RAM, 2.5MB.

When I pulled the board to check I carefully pulled the memory out.  Simm2 was the last module I pulled, and when I looked at the tab it was already broke(like a tooth hanging by a thread)  I assume this is probably why I got the first bomb error on the previous boot.   Any idea's on the best way to reattach this plastic piece?  I never have luck with any super glues, and expoxies do better, but still leave undesirable results.

I apologize, in my excitement I cracked the case before taking any pics.  I attached one from the auction.  Needs a little cleaning up, but I think it will be a nice addition to my small humble collection.

Thanks for any input you guys have for fixing the memory latch.

Got the socket from Maceffects and it fit perfect.  Had trouble getting the old socket off and lost two traces on the front and one on the back, but it seems to be solid with 4MB now.  Apple diagnostics ran over 50 loops of long RAM test, so I am gonna say it was a success.  Thanks again for the help Maceffects
