Anyone know the part number on the Power Computings PCI Riser card for the PowerWave machine? Anyone know if the riser cards for other models will work? For that matter, there's all manner of PCI riser cards sold for newer small form factor logic boards. Anyone know if any of those will work?
I have a couple of PowerWave logic boards but somehow failed to get riser cards for them. Silly oversight on my part.
I'm thinking about retiring the old PCI machines, but I might like to have a compact machine to run OS 7.6 through 9.1 on and with a low profile CPU card, the PowerWave would fit the bill. Cram it into a small ATX case, and it'll be great. I'll add a decent video card, like a Radeon 7000 and an Acard 6280 to use IDE drives, and I'll be done.
