Hello 68kMLA forum!,
I started a new github page to discuss ideas for a modern 68k accelerator for old Macintosh systems, this will begin with the Mac SE + SE/30 - but I hope that if the project gains any traction, that others might want to port the designs to other Macs, newer or older, than the SE's.
It is an open project that takes inspiration from existing accelerators for Classic Mac and rival 68k systems. I hope this is able to start a dialogue between the brilliant minds in the community and able to create a lasting alternative to the aging expansion options for older Macs, being easily and affordably acquired and reproduced by hobbyists, perhaps even outperforming existing accelerators with modern solutions that have already proved effective for other 68k computers.
