I just picked up an eBay listing because in included something called "MacProductFinder".

A quick search and I can only find a scan of the documentation and not the Hypercard Stack. It seems to be a product catalogue.

Anyone know anything about it?

That’s really cool! I’ve never heard of this before.

Huh... I think I have a couple. I'll have a look tomorrow and image the disk if anyone's interested?
I don't mind imaging the disks as long as they're in working order. I'll be taking a look at it anyhow.

Have you loaded it up? Is it just apple.com/store, but 1988?

The manual mentions "directory of UK distributed products" - it must have been a local thing. Wouldn't have expected that, but it explains why it was less likely to have been uploaded. Still weird it wasn't.

From memory, it is just a Hypercard stack of the available products. I'm surprised it's not archived either.

...I have at least two copies. I think I might have a third still sealed. It does appear to be a UK thing.

Anybody wanna offer me a gazillion bucks for the sealed one if I find it?? 🤣

Now that I think of it, maybe the copies I had were just the paper bits and not the disks...hence why I didn't keep it.

Seriously though, I am a collector and would be interested in buying one of these for not a large amount of money if anyone is interested in selling one.

As a side note, it would be appreciated if someone at least uploads the disk images. That would be cool to check out.

I'll image my copy when it arrives if someone hasn't already. It seems fairly common if someone doesn't have a spare copy. One here : https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Apple-Macintosh-Mac-Product-Finder-Vintage-Software-/224504681801

I paid a lot less (£6.20 with a copy of hypercard).

If you see one you want on UK eBay I don't mind redirecting it to you.
