Kanga questions - RAM and XPostFacto

I'm writing a page on the Kanga for my website and I want to include a section on running OS X with XPostFacto.
Documentation here specifies it can run at least 10.2: https://eshop.macsales.com/OSXCenter/XPostFacto/Framework.cfm?page=Compatibility.html
But what about 10.3? I do know that anything pre-G3 can't boot Panther, but I haven't been able to find anything about the Kanga. Typical, there's so little information in general about this thing.
Has anyone tried to boot Panther on a Kanga?

Also - I read that 3400s and Kangas use different RAM, but of course, the modules look nearly identical. What's the incompatibility?

IIRC it’s either timings or RAS/CAS line order (or maybe both?). I think some cards have a way to switch the latter over with resistors.

Not sure of the technical difference, but if I recall correctly:
KTA-PBG3/128 is recognized as 64MB in 3400 models (80MB total); 128MB in Kanga.
KTA-PB3400/128 is not recognized in Kanga (boots with only 32MB onboard); 128MB in 3400.

Both variants use the same KTA-PB3400/128 PCB.

Eventually I'll get high res pictures taken of both.

Thanks for providing the info. I'll probably make a page at some point when I have enough info and photos on the differences between 5300, 3400, and Kanga RAM, as they're all so similar at a quick glance.

Photos of both modules would be very helpful.
