Apple changed the design before the SE/30 was released. If you knew that you were going to sell an upgrade that wouldn't fit, wouldn't you try to get the change into the production process as quickly as possible? Uniserver's photos show a pre-FDHD SE which had a brief overlap with the SE/30.That's strange, did they standardize on the vertical slot opening after the release of the SE/30?
I figured Radius had a part in getting that vertical slot into the spec if it hadn't been there, heck, Aldus probably got on them to allow for more expansion. :Apple changed the design before the SE/30 was released.
Yeah, Apple changed the serial number coding on the 1990-91 Macs. Throws the serial decoder for a loop. Checked mine as well, and it did the same thing. Emailed the guy who runs the site, and he menitoned that.F83401XM5010Well I guess my SE a slightly newer then what I thought.
