Macintosh II no video.

Hi everyone

i recently acquired a brand "new" macintosh II.

i recapped it because it didn't sound and didn't show any video at all.

After recapping all 47 mfd capacitors it seems to start every time with sound

however video doesn't start. Only one time every 10 video starts and all seems to be normal. I swapped video card but the problem is obviously MB related. Any idea?

thanks in advance

Get one of those snooper Nubus cards and see what is failing.

Have you checked the RAM? You need to see in what order things are tested on boot to figure out what is failing before the system turns video on.

Also go back and check to see if you installed any capacitors backwards (polarity). Did you washe off the board and look for any motherboard damage (from leaking caps) when you reworked it?
