Mac SE/30 w/Diimo 030 50MHz accelerator and memory latency

I recently installed a Diimo 030 50MHz accelerator in my Mac SE/30 and also upgraded to 128MB 60ns memory. The SE/30 requires 120ns memory running at stock 16MHz frequency. My questions is does the lower latency of 60ns have any benefit when using such an accelerator or is the memory access the same as it would be without the accelerator. My guess is the latter and the 64K cache of the Diimo 030 is doing the heavy lifting with memory access.
