OK, now the weirdness is weirder. 2x MacPluses,
-Plus No. 1 when you power up trips the earth leakage safety switches in my house after about 30 seconds so I won't power it up.
-Plus No. 2 powers up and continually tries to eject a disk from the internal floppy, it is not the drive as I have tried 3 drives and they all started ejecting at power up. I plug in an external 3.5" drive, it boots and then hangs at "Welcome to Macintosh" regardless of what disk or version of OS I was, 6.03 or 6.08. I plug in the HD20 (don't know what system is on it) but it too hangs at the Welcome to Macintosh" screen.
-I now take the logicboard from Plus No. 1 (the one that trips the safety switches) and put it in Plus No. 2, Plus No. 2 exhibits all the same behaviour as it did with its own logicboard.
I have to conclude that it is something in the analog board or power supply of Plus No. 2 that is causing all the weirdness as it is only part that I have to exchanged because i am not game to use the analog board or power supply of Plus No. 1 as it keeps tripping the safetly switches.
Is it possible that something in the analog board or power supply that is causing the thing to hang?
