Since it's such a common vector for SPAM attacks, external links in signatures have now been disabled. You can still link to pages on the MLA wiki using the wiki tags (see here) and also to topics and posts on the forums using the topic and post tags by entering the topic/post ID (which is shown in the URL bar of your browser. For example, to link to the Bug Tracker (e.g. viewtopic.php?t=24) you could use either of:

Or you could also link to the first (or any) post in the thread (e.g. viewtopic.php?p=72#p72) using either of:

For the most part, that should be sufficient in addition to the "website" field in your profile for a link to your personal website.
