Keyspan USB adapter on 10.6/Intel Mac?

Hi,

I've dragged out my Newton 2100, and would like to use it under OS X with the help of a Keyspan USB --> Mac serial adapter (model USB-28, single port). Has anyone tried the OS X driver under an Intel Mac - is it compatible, is it 64-bit? I'm loathe to install it on my 10.6/64 bit kernel Hackintosh without this knowledge.

Thank you

JB

For forum knowledge - I found a beta version of Keyspan's software for 10.7, which purported to have both 32 and 64 bit drivers in the one package. However, it stated it was only for the USA-28UX model, not my USA-28. Little to lose, I decided to install, and it works a treat! The Keyspan software detects the USA-28 adapter properly, although it only works off one serial port (number 1).

NCX now works and I can copy stuff to my Newton :D

I have a USA-28X B dual port Keyspan, and it works great under 10.6. I use it for ADT transfers.
