Today I picked up a 22” Dell IPS monitor for $8. I thought it had an HDMI connector, but it turned out to be a DisplayPort connector.
It also had a HDMI to VGA converter attached to the VGA cable than came with the monitor.
It works great with my new to me Mac Mini.
It was once a visitor monitor attached to a RedHat computer. Unfortunately, the computer wasn’t at the thrift store.
