This is a dumb request, but I'm hoping someone here has replaced 1 or both of the 74HC132 ICs in the IIci and can point me at the correct IC to order. I purchased a couple from DigiKey and they ended up being the wrong size. Derp. Thanks!

I have a couple of battery damaged IIci boards. If you want me to check to see if they could be an organ donor let me know.

I guess it would depend on where they are on the board. If you can give me a location I can take a look.

Thanks ScutBoy, I don't think you need to salvage them from an existing board, you should be able to buy them new. If you have some in good shape though, plz let me know. Here's where they are at:

Thanks superjer2000.

Were the diodes on yours visibly damaged? They appear OK on mine, probably should test them before placing my next component order. :)

There was some corrosion on them. I pulled off all the chips in that area as they all had some corrosion and then I cleaned under and then replaced with new. Soft power worked perfectly after that.

I had to do some wire bodging with those chips on a IIci in the past to get soft power to work completely. Power up was OK, power down didn't work. Had to tone things out using the schematics to figure out what to wire-jump
