Hallo,
I replaced the original brooken 40 MB by a 170 MB from an Amiga. Until now I haven't found any manual on how to make a HD bootable so I had to experiment a bit. I was given a disk "Ontrack disk manager" and a set OS 7.0 Dutch. Neither the Install 1 floppy nor the Disk tool floppy recognised the disk. The manager disk recognised the disk and I could format it and make partitions. So I made a partition of 170 MB. I booted the Disk tool again and both partitions appeared on the desktop. But the Installer kept on saying it couldn't find a suitable harddisk.
So what isgoing on (or more probably: what am I doing wrong) ???
Many thanks for any help or advice!
