How much would this iMac be worth today?

So a few months ago I bought an iMac from the thrift store to play around with, mostly because I have never used one before. I really bought it to teach myself how to repair and upgrade them. So, in the beginning it was a stock rev.a Bondi ( 233 Mhz G3 / 4gb HDD / 32 mb RAM / 2 mb VRAM on OS 8.5 :-/ ), and after all my tinkering around it ended up being a 466 Mhz G4 / 80 Gb HDD / 256 Mb RAM / 6 mb VRAM on Mac OS X 10.3.9 8-o ) Is there any demand for the old CRT iMacs anymore? To a collector maybe? Or does this beast just end up in my living room on a display shelf, next to my 1984 128K and my original Messagepad?

The 233 bondi blues aren't worth much, maybe $20. The G4 upgrade is worth more, probably at least $100 because of the rarity.

What he said. Sadly, CRTs are pretty much "out of fashion now", including most of the iMac G3 models, meaning that they sell for quite little and even go for free. Your iMac is worth more though because of the upgrade.

Incidentally, for collectors, now is the time to pick up G3 iMacs as they are available so cheaply and will probably become quite scarce within the next decade. I can see them being quite a "retro novelty" about 20 years from now.
