How dark are the M0110 Keyboard Keycaps?

I have a 512K Mac that I am in the process of cleaning and restoring -- beginning with the M0110 Keyboard. Keycaps have been cleaned, it's obvious that the Space Bar has yellowed considerably, and I believe the rest of then keycaps have, as well -- to my eye, they are a very warm grey, darker than I would expect, and I see a yellow cast in that grey. This is not the keyboard I am working on, but the color is similar:

This is more or less what I would expect (ignoring the yellowed Space Bar):

However -- the color does appear to be uniform, even on the underside of the keycaps. For the most part, I feel as though can get a good sense of what color I will arrive at by looking at the inside of something, where the plastic hasn't been exposed -- but the keycaps, and even the Space Bar, seem consistent throughout. Is it possible the darker grey is closer to the original color than I would expect?

You’re comparing beige vs platinum Mac Plus keyboards there - both can yellow but generally not as badly as later model Apple ABS plastics.

Neither respond particularly well to retrobrighting in my experience apart from dropping down a few shades.

That's more or less why I was asking the question -- trying to get a reference point on the darker grey, which is unfamiliar.
